The fin DB app provides users with a platform to access stock water ski settings and store personalized configurations for a chosen ski model. High-performance water skis come with precise settings, often shared by manufacturers as a foundation for users to start setting up their ski.

Through the new finShare feature, users can conveniently share their configurations with others. This facilitates direct comparisons of settings with fellow users who own the same model ski.

Stock settings are determined based on the brand, model, length, and optionally the production year of the ski. Key adjustable parameters captured in the app include binding location, fin length, fin depth, distance of the fin from the tail, and wing angle specifications.

To save custom configurations, users are required to register and create an account within the application.
